We believe that better, more appropriate treatment is possible when the clients, families and the treatment team share a deep understanding of all the issues.
All clients being welcomed to Decision Point Center's residential program first receive an extensive psychiatric, medical, nutritional, psychological and psychosocial development assessment conducted by licensed therapists and physicians. This critical assessment process establishes an understanding of the client's condition, needs, past treatment experiences, physical health, psychological state, family history and much more. This comprehensive assessment is critical to ensuring that the Decision Point team can provide the best, most individualized addiction and substance use disorder treatment for each client and, in some cases, determine if additional care – or even a different center’s program – may best suit their needs. While in the 15-day residential assessment phase, clients will also participate in group counseling sessions and some substance use education.
Through our three Arizona locations, in Scottsdale and Prescott, we offer detoxification, intensive outpatient care (IOP), 45- and 90-day residential primary care treatment, and continuing care by way of transitional living options. A combination of one or more of these services is generally what is required to provide our 18-34-year old clients with a full range of effective therapies for treating drug and alcohol addiction and substance use disorders.
15-Day Residential Assessment Only Program
Decision Point also offers an "Assessment Only" track where patients join us for 15 days and receive a thorough evaluation of their physical and mental conditions along with recommendations that may or may not include residential treatment. This 15-day program is unique in the industry and provides patients a wonderful opportunity to learn about themselves, their condition and the underlying issues that may have contributed to substance use.
