Celebrating National Addiction Professionals Day with Decision Point

Every year, NAADAC takes a day to recognize the addiction and recovery professionals who help people struggling with substance use disorder every day as part of National Recovery Month. This year, the 26th annual National Addiction Professionals Day is celebrated today, September 20. This day, started back in 1992, commemorates the work those people in our line of work do to help as many people as we can to overcome their struggles and regain control of their lives.

“Our people don’t get a lot of recognition and reward for their work, and it’s tough work,” said NAADAC Executive Director Cynthia Moreno Tuohy. “A little bit of ‘I care about you’ goes a long way.”

At Decision Point, we use a combination of modern and cutting-edge techniques to help our clients complete a successful rehabilitation in our safe and secure facility. Our staff is the heart and soul of our entire operation, and their efforts every single day help countless people and inspire the rest of us to reach that extra inch higher. If you are looking to take the next step in your recovery, call us at (844) 292-5010 today to discuss the treatment options we offer at Decision point, or send us your information through our online form and a member of our staff will reach out to you as soon as possible.
