About
Dr. MaryAnn Moore is a doctorally prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 16 years of experience in psychiatric care. She began her nursing career after earning her RN from Hutchinson Community College and spent six years at one of Arizona’s largest detoxification facilities, where she developed a strong clinical foundation in substance use treatment and crisis stabilization.
She later advanced into leadership roles while completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University, graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Moore went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University with honors and began practicing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, serving seriously mentally ill and court‑ordered populations.
Dr. Moore has extensive experience working with adults and adolescents navigating complex mental health challenges, severe trauma, and co‑occurring substance use disorders. She is highly skilled in managing high‑acuity psychiatric presentations, including mood disorders, behavioral dysregulation, co‑occurring conditions, and treatment‑resistant cases.
She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Frontier Nursing University with a 4.0 GPA.
Dr. Moore is deeply passionate about treating addiction and complex psychiatric conditions through evidence‑based practice, trauma‑informed care, and compassionate engagement. Her therapeutic approach integrates clinical excellence with her Christian faith, emphasizing dignity, accountability, and whole‑person healing.
