While executive director is the title Mary Ann holds at Decision Point Center, she thinks of herself as the team leader at our Arizona alcohol and drug addiction treatment center. Her job is to make decisions when needed and to help train, grow, and empower those around her to make the decisions that are within the philosophy and framework of our mission as an organization.
Dr. Terry Vaughan is a physician specializing in psychiatry who has over 20 years of experience treating psychiatric and addiction patients in Prescott, Arizona. She graduated with her medical degree (M.D.) from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1993. Afterward, she began her internship in internal medicine at St. Vincent’s Hospital and completed her psychiatry residency in 1997 at Indiana/Purdue University.
Lindy joined the team at Decision Point following her long-anticipated move to Prescott in 2016. She brought with her 15 years of experience working with mental health disorders, trauma, and addiction in outpatient, and residential settings. Her focus, as both a therapist and supervisor, has always been on providing quality, individualized, trauma-informed treatment to clients.
Dave Seymour has been working in behavioral healthcare since 2012. Dave has developed a passion for working with adults who are struggling with substance abuse and addiction. Dave specializes in helping families understand their loved one’s challenges with substance abuse. Drawing from his own experiences with addiction.
Bonnie has a Master’s of Science in Professional Counseling and has worked with dually diagnosed population for over five years. She began to work in the behavioral health field in 2012 and worked towards obtaining the necessary education to serve a more diverse population. Deborah Pallett completed her mater's degree to become a physician assistant at the University of Iowa. She has over 20 years of experience beginning with primary car working in a community health center in rural California through a government scholarship program. she has also worked in the fields of oncology and dermatology prior to specializing in psychiatry and addiction medicine.
Carol Kibbee has had a contract with Decision Point Center for over three years, specializing in using EMDR protocols to reduce cravings/urges for substances and behavioral addictions and instill a stronger sense of positive self. She is passionate and excited about the results she sees with patients often reporting that cravings and urges to use are “gone” and “all I can remember now is the bad part” of the addiction.
Dr. Conner enhances Decision Point Center and our treatments with her unique background as an acclaimed neuropsychologist. We take a multifaceted yet focused approach to addiction treatment, and her talents as a neuropsychologist are invaluable to our staff and the people who come to us for guidance and support. Dr. Conner first received her doctorate from the Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.
Moina is a Licensed Associate Counselor in Arizona with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Bachelor’s in Psychology. She has 15yrs experience working with children and families with abuse and neglect issues family restoration, substance abuse issues, depression, codependency, low self-esteem. She has worked with individuals recovering from trauma, those managing life with severe mental illness.
Wade is dedicated to working with clients to better understand the nature of their substance use as well as determining new plans for the future. Of course, these plans include relapse prevention and identifying skills to remain sober. But is that enough? It is Wade’s opinion that “just not using” is not enough to maintain genuine change.
Philip has worked in Behavioral Health for the last 17 years in one capacity or another. Philip worked as the integrated Service Manager and Primary Therapist 7 years ago for approximately 4 years. Philip recently rejoined the Decision Point team as Family Therapist. Philip is currently at the tail end of receiving his Master’s Degree at Grand Canyon University with his LPC.
Since January 2017, Gregson has served as the Director of Education and Development for Staff & Clientele here at Decision Point. It is in this capacity where he instructs all of Decision Point’s staff in the Therapeutic Community model of treatment (as prescribed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, also known as SAMHSA).
Ben started his life in Recovery at the age of 25 and started managing recovery-based homes at 26. He has continued to work towards helping others at every level of care from half-way houses, detox centers, and most recently a Director or Executive Team Member at three nationally accredited substance abuse treatment centers. Brad originally came to Decision Point in 2012. Brad has functioned in all facets of the addiction treatment field from case management, family services, physical health services, admissions, digital engagement, and outreach. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to work with families and addicts to enhance and better educate them on the disease of addiction.
Derek was born in Denver, CO which is where he spent most of his life. He began a career in programming and manufacturing but was faced with his own battles with substance abuse. For many years Derek struggled to get his life on track. In 2012 he came to Prescott, AZ desperate and willing for help. Upon changing his life Derek has worked in behavioral health ever since.
Rita is the Director of Adventure and Recreation at Decision Point Center. Rita's background includes an academic major in Recreation, twelve years as the business owner and operator of the Albuquerque Rock Gym and Sandia Climbing Guides, ten years of experience as a volunteer for the National Park Service exploring and mapping caves, and five-plus years working in outdoor therapy.
