Our latest day of service took us to the beautiful Watson Woods on Friday April 6th. The weather was perfect at Watson Woods, and we all worked very hard, moving firewood cut from dead cottonwood trees to the access road, so that it can be donated to those who need it.
A Trip to Watson Woods
We merrily stacked two whole cords of firewood! We also learned about a research project on lizards that is being conducted out there, and got to help restore a lizard habitat. Unfortunately, we forgot a camera, so we don't have any photos -- but everyone had a great time, and as usual - we got the job done! With the help of our Adventure Therapy Program, you can build yourself all over again and not have to worry about the problems of addiction following you anymore.
