Rita is the Director of Adventure and Recreation at Decision Point Center. Rita's background includes an academic major in Recreation, twelve years as the business owner and operator of the Albuquerque Rock Gym and Sandia Climbing Guides, ten years of experience as a volunteer for the National Park Service exploring and mapping caves, and five-plus years working in outdoor therapy. With her adventure staff, she creates, coordinates and leads adventures that help her clients to realize the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits of time spent outdoors. Rita communicates the therapeutic value of outdoor experiences as they relate to a healthy and balanced life in recovery.
