At Decision Point Center we offer a unique program where clients can learn new skills that will greatly benefit them when moving forward in their recovery process. Our adventure therapy program helps clients build confidence and master self-control.
As part of our adventure therapy we incorporate hiking, rock-climbing, backpacking, and/or high and low rope courses to challenge individuals to become the person they know they can be. This helps with identifying internal behavior patterns, beliefs, emotions, and core issues, as well as provides opportunities for learning in the areas of basic leadership, communication/group process, and problem-solving skills.
The Adventure Therapy Staff is there to guide and support each client in their physical, emotional, and spiritual development, while exploring the breathtaking, natural beauty of mountainous Arizona.

Ropes/Challenges Course & Rock Climbing
Our Ropes/Challenge course offers clients a unique opportunity to foster solid and lifelong changes in a non-conventional setting. As part of our adventure therapy program, clients are able to slowly transition through a series of safe and structured activities, moving from ground-level elements to higher, more difficult ones as their levels of trust and confidence increase. This program offers the perfect blend of opportunities to raise new awareness for each individual.
The adventure therapy program also offers the low ropes course. This helps clients to learn how to work more effectively in groups by highlighting group interaction, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Our high ropes program incorporates rock climbing programs that focus more on individual achievement, helping clients to confront personal fears, and to overcome their boundaries.
