Decision Point Center in Prescott, Arizona is a holistic recovery center for the treatment of alcohol, substance and other addictive disorders. Our Addiction Treatment Center is designed to meet the needs of men and women 18 and older who repeatedly struggle with Chronic Relapse, Substance Abuse, Co-Dependency, as well as other addictions. We treat mental health issues, such as Compulsive Behaviors, Co-occurring Disorders, and Trauma Related Issues. We have designed our addiction treatment program around a complete holistic continuum of care. At Decision Point Center, our rehab program is designed to treat the “whole person” from a multidisciplinary approach.

We subscribe to the belief that Trauma is the core issue which underlines the abusive disorders, addictions, mental health and chronic relapse behaviors. Over time, these dysfunctional behaviors can become a progressive and fatal disease known as addiction.

Our Holistic Addiction Treatment Program is strategically located in the beautiful mountains of Prescott, Arizona. People come from Phoenix, Scottsdale, throughout the United States and Canada to immerse themselves in this calm, serene setting for treatment. We build new lives through our adventure therapy, equine assisted psychotherapy, ropes and challenge course, nutrition and wellness program, as well as, other holistic, experiential, and traditional therapies. We embrace the twelve-step model as an overarching philosophy and believe that developing, life skills, social responsibility, and having FUN in recovery will lead to lifelong recovery.

Decision Point Center provides comprehensive recovery treatment for survivors of all forms of childhood and adult trauma. Co-morbid addictive, compulsive disorders, and trauma related issues can be treated concurrently. Post traumatic stress, acute stress, dissociative, obsessive compulsive disorder, and panic disorders are addressed by our trauma specialist in concert with our multi-disciplinary team. The particular approach(s) for treatment is determined on an individual basis by the clinical staff and the client in order to meet the client’s special needs.

Our co-ed program has a three phase "step-up" process. Each phase of the program affords the individual increased community involvement. Integration into the community increases as the individual's life skills and treatment progress. All phases are progress driven as opposed to time driven.

PHASE I:
Daily treatment with extensive structure and guidance while attending daily outside 12-Step meetings. The client is expected to obtain a sponsor and begin to develop a strong network of support within the 12-Step community.

PHASE II:
Daily treatment with an expanded focus on day-to-day community living and community volunteer work while still maintaining involvement in the 12-Step community.

PHASE III:
The client is provided daily treatment with the opportunity to obtain employment or enroll in school. Clients begin to gain a sense of independence and responsibility while maintaining a 12-Step program.

The client is expected to develop a peer-support network within the community and acquire service commitments.
Continuum of Care is a key element to life-long recovery. All clients develop an individualized continuing care plan with their primary therapist
