Decision Point Center is a state licensed program, located within the heart of a recovering community. Our program is designed with a vision and mission to help meet the needs of those who continually struggle with chronic relapse behaviors, addiction disorders, compulsive behaviors, co-dependency, mental health issues, and underlying trauma. In addition, our program is designed for those who need a continuum of care beyond the traditional 30 day programs. .
Decision Point Center’s long term treatment is a minimum commitment of 90 days, although our average length of stay is generally 4 to 6 months.
However, the length of the program is infinitely variable or open ended, and is based upon the individual’s progress, needs and issues. A three to six month Continuing Care Program is also available.
Our program is not based on time spent, but rather…Time spent well.
Our program offers freedom from addictions, compulsive behaviors, underlying trauma and stability of mental health issues along with reintegrating the individual back into independent, community living. They will gain and experience:
Empowerment & confidence
Ability to experience a healthy and sober lifestyle
Self-supporting, life skills, and a social responsibility
A new freedom and happiness
Program Structucre
Our co-ed program has a three phase step-down process. Each phase of the program affords the individual increased community involvement than the prior phase. Thus integration into the community increases as the individual’s life skills and treatment progresses.
PHASE I: daily treatment with extensive structure and guidance, while attending daily outside 12 step meetings.
PHASE II: daily treatment with an expanded focus on day-to-day community living and community volunteer work.
PHASE III: daily treatment with the opportunity to obtain employment or enroll in school part-time. Clients begin to gain a sense of independence and responsibility while maintaining a 12 step program.
The client is immersed into the 12-Step community immediately. The client is expected to obtain a sponsor and maintain service commitments while developing a peer support network within the community.
Continuum of Care is a key element to life-long recovery. All clients develop an individualized continuing care plan with their primary therapist.
