Kathy has worked in the behavioral health field in Arizona or 23 years in positions ranging from line staff to agency CEO. Through her experience, she has a solid working knowledge of the Arizona behavioral health system. Kathy assisted Decision Point with management consultation during their growth phase. Kathy holds a certification from the prominent Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA), an association who defines themselves as “dedicated to improving the mental health of individuals, families, and groups around the world by setting the standard of excellence in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy”. Kathy has been involved with horses (breeding, showing, and training) for over 30 years. She combined her years of work in behavioral health with her lifelong love for horses when she launched the equine-assisted psychotherapy program for Decision Point.
