Tony brings a wealth of diverse talent and experience with treatment programs to the organization. He is in personal recovery from his addiction and exudes a passion and commitment to the process of treatment and recovery. Tony has been with Decision Point as the program has evolved, having worked in all facets of the program including Treatment Coordination, Facilities Director, Administration, and facilitation of Big Book Study Groups, spirituality workshops along with community team building meetings for our clients.

Robert (Bob) F. Perrone holds a Master of Social Work degree from Tulane University. He has been a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers since 1976, a Qualified Clinical Social Worker and a Diplomat in Clinical Social Work and is licensed in the state of Arizona as a Clinical Social Worker. Bob brings more than thirty years of both clinical and administrative experience to Decision Point Center.

Gail joins the Decision Point Center team as Outreach Coordinator with over 30 years of administrative management and customer service experience.  She brings with her a unique talent of organization, interpersonal skills and a passion for people.  Gail works closely with the clinical, administrative and clinical outreach staff, ensuring the efficient day to day functions of Decision Point Center.

LLoyd has a Doctorate Degree with an emphasis in counseling and is licensed by the State of Arizona as a Professional Counselor.  Dr. Gillum has been in the field for 30 years as an administrator, educator and clinician where the focus has been substance abuse, mental health issues, compulsive sexual behaviors, and other disruptive behavior disorders.  Dr. Gillum has had proven success working with difficult clients in hospital settings, treatment centers and community agencies.

Terry A. Vaughan, MD
Medical Director, Psychiatrist


Dr. Vaughan was the Medical Director of West Yavapai Guidance Clinic, inpatient and outpatient services for nine years, and practiced in Prescott for eleven years. She is Board Certified in Psychiatry and works with adults and adolescents down to the age of 13.   She has expertise in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse and dependence, persons with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit disorders and psychotic disorders.   Dr. Vaughan was one of 41 psychiatrists nationally awarded the "Exemplary Psychiatrist" award by NAMI (the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) in 2009. She has been a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Medical Association for over sixteen years.

Barry comes to us from Lakeside-Milam recovery center where he served in a variety of capacities including IOP counselor, treatment director and most recently as a facility administrator. During his 12 year position as Administrator he was responsible for creating systems and developing individualized treatment programs that have been the foundation for both a comprehensive and successful program but most importantly have had a profound and lasting impact on all who have been involved.

After years of experience with his own personal recovery, Jimmy entered the treatment field in 1996 as a residential house manager.  Jimmy expanded his involvement in the addiction field by working in many different capacities. Jimmy has acquired knowledge, skills and experience related to insurance, the intervention process, and marketing to labor unions, employee assistance programs and labor assistance professionals.

Brenda relocated to Prescott, Arizona in 2001 from California, a former tax collector and corporate tax accountant with construction companies from Alaska, California, and Arizona. She has over 20 years of customer service, administrative, accounting, and office management experience. Brenda, also has 30 years of experience with psychiatric and chemical dependent individuals.

Erinn holds a Master’s degree in social work from The University of Minnesota. She has worked as a therapist and Program Coordinator at a community mental health center focusing directly on supporting families in the community.Erinn co-founded and served as the Executive Director for Families First Counseling Center. Erinn’s current focus at Decision Point is her passion for treating trauma, addictions, mood disorders, and obsessive compulsive disorder. She facilitates this through her training in EMDR II, somatic experiencing, and auricular acupuncture. In addition, she has worked both as a primary therapist and family therapist at The Meadows.

James Craig
Adventure Coordinator

James is a certified Wilderness First Responder and certified Clinical First Responder.  He is skilled in backpacking, camping, rock climbing, challenge course facilitation, as well as group facilitation and management. James’ dedication and belief in the Decision Point Center Adventure program is evident in his enthusiastic ability to bring safety, quality and fun experiences to the Adventure Program.

Jess has been working with the Decision Point Adventure Program since January of 2009, and has worked in the field of Adventure Education for about 15 years now.  Twelve of those years were spent leading wilderness expeditions as an Outward Bound Instructor. Jess is a certified Wilderness First Responder, and is skilled in the areas of backpacking, canoeing/kayaking, rock climbing, ropes course facilitation, and overall group management.

Maureen started with Decision Point in October of 2009 as part of our housing staff before becoming part of the administrative staff. Her background includes over 20 years in customer service, as well as extensive experience in administrative duties.

Psychiatrist

Dr. Pieri has been in practice for over 20 years. She has expertise in the treatment of substance use disorders, psychotic and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and can assist in the treatment of personality disorders. She is Board Certified in Psychiatry as well as a Diplomat and Fellow of the American Board of Forensic Medicine. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the International Society for Sport Psychiatry. She was voted "Top Doc" in her specialty for 2010.

Philip has over 10 years working in the field of substance abuse. He is in charge of ensuring that the treatment coordination and residential living departments run smoothly. Recently, Philip has started an Acclimation Group for new clients to initiate their engagement in the treatment process. Philip is the proud father of a five year-old son and has enriched his own personal life with over eleven years of sobriety himself.

Billy holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. Billy comes to Decision Point Center with over 10 years of managerial experience. Billy started with Decision Point Center in 2009 as a housing manager and now contributes to the clinical team as a Treatment Coordinator.

Tom comes to Decision Point Center with a number of excellent qualities.  His thirty year career in the United States Coast Guard provided him with a great deal of experience in leadership, mentoring, and team building.  Tom spent over half of his military career at command level assignments, earning him several awards for his accomplishments, as well as the respect and trust of those he led. Upon his retirement, Tom chose to follow his true passion.

Recovery saved my life and gave me a purpose. In addition to the knowledge and experience gained in my personal experience I worked as a Primary Therapist and a Family Counselor at the Meadows in Wickenburg, AZ. While working at the Meadows I trained with Pia Melody and Claudia Black. I also worked with then Native American population and received my Criminal Justice Certification while working with the Department of Corrections.

Dr. Cindy Rollins, PsyD

Dr. Cindy Rollins holds a doctorate degree in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of La Verne and is currently in the process of becoming a licensed clinical psychologist for the state of Arizona. Dr. Rollins’s clinical experience includes treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, grief and loss issues, chronic pain, adherence of treatment, family of origin issues, parent skills training, trauma work as well as administering and interpreting psychological and cognitive assessments. She uses an integrative theoretical orientation, often pulling from cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy while incorporating a strengths-based framework that focuses on increasing that individual’s awareness of his or her inner resiliency in overcoming challenges. Dr. Rollins’s is committed to helping individuals work through the recovery process and empowering these adults with knowledge and skills toward an increased quality of life.

Mary Ann comes to Decision Point Center bringing 25 years management experience with her.  She has had extensive medical training and brings the combined medical training and managerial experience along with excellent multi tasking and attention to detail to the Medical Department.  Mary Ann oversees all employees in the medical department and works very closely with our doctors and clients orchestrating the schedules and medical/medication needs.

Krista Shires

Krista comes to Decision Point Center with personal experience and strength in recovery.  Krista works in the medical department as a Medical Coordinator and as a Clinical Intern and facilitates various educational groups here.  Krista is majoring in psychology and social work at Yavapai College and her ultimate goal is to receive her master’s in social work from Arizona State University. She has also had medical training through Yavapai College’s Allied Health Program and brings that experience to her present position at Decision Point Center. Krista has been with Decision Point Center since 2007.

Greg joined Decision Point Center in 2009 as part of the Residential staff and eventually moved over to the Clinical Department as a Medical Coordinator where he now is an asset to the DP staff.  Greg has an extensive background in the Medical field where he was trained and worked as a Nationally Registered Paramedic and Flight Medic.  Greg has also worked at Neonatal Advance Life Support, as a Transport Specialist on a Neonatal Advance Life Support Ambulance where he transported Critical Care newborns in Incubators to Specialized Care Facilities.  Greg ended up working for The South Florida Heart Institute as a Medical Assistant for over nine years before coming to Prescott Arizona.

LouAnn is a Master’s level Licensed Professional Counselor and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. She has over twenty-one years as a clinician with specialties in group family therapy for addicts and their families. She has ten years of experience with children and adolescents specializing in sexual, physical and emotional abuse.

Men's Residential Supervisor

Chris has been at Decision Point Center since 2009. As he is in recovery himself he is able to relate, as well as identify with the clients and help to assist in their recovery process. He has worked in all areas of residential department. Chris leads three groups a week consisting of Big Book studies, 12 and 12 studies, and overall client accountability groups. His overall passion for those early in recovery is irreplaceable when it comes to trusting in the recovery process.

Wynter Krisha
Women's Residential Supervisor

Wynter has worked in the recovery field for four years, in which half of that time has been shared with us at Decision Point. She is in recovery herself and uses her own experience, strength, and hope to help those new in recovery. Wynter has worked with teens from group homes and teens going through trauma work, as well as those with various addictions. She has worked every position in our residential department and has been a great asset to our team. She is able to relate with our clients and help them to see that it is possible to recover from the disease of alcoholism and addiction.
